Ric Flair College Basketball Rankings - Season Finale
The Ric Flair methodology brought to college sports, to be the man you gotta beat the man. The inaugural season of our alternative ranking system was a success and we proudly bring you our final college basketball top 25.
Our final top 25 is led by the national champions. Followed by Loyola University Chicago and Sister Jean, the latest in a long list of NCAA tournament Cinderellas. Our top 25 is rounded out by runner ups Michigan in 3rd, with Houston and Kentucky in 4th and 5th respectively.
The most surprising team in the final top 25 would have to be Colorado, a squad that did not participate in any post season tournaments. The most embarrassing team to miss out would definitely have to be the University of Virginia, the loss to UMBC effectively left them out of contention.
Unfortunately, our pick to win it all in Purdue failed to finish in the top 25 but we conveniently blame that on the loss of one of their star players in Isaac Haas.
This marks the temporary end of one of our favorite segments. But the Ric Flair College Football rankings will make a return in August.
