On February 22nd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we will witness one of the best cards in boxing history, with all seven fights on the card being title fights that would sell out arenas if they were the main event. The 'Last Crescendo' name is fitting for a card that gets more and more intense as the fights go on, with...
Jayden Daniels Will Match Mahomes Legendary Run
It felt like no one would ever come close to what Tom Brady did, then Patrick Mahomes happened. And now there are talks that no one will ever come close to what he's done in his first seven seasons, with five Super Bowl appearances in that period. Well, I am here to tell you that Jayden Daniels is about to have a Mahomes-esque run.
Welcome back to Far-Fetched Friday, where we give you a bold prediction that we believe will come to fruition. This Friday, we look at a rising superstar.

The most crucial detail to consider is that the degree of difficulty Daniels faces will be significantly less than Mahomes due to the abysmal state of the NFC. Think about it- the universally accepted four best Quarterbacks in the NFL are all from the AFC: Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow. That fifth spot is open, and I would argue Daniels has the best case after a legendary rookie season where he led the Commanders to their first NFC championship game since 1992.
So, operating with the clarity that Daniels is already one of the five best QBs in the league, the fact that he is on a rookie deal for another three seasons is another vital detail. Similar to early Mahomes, Burrow, Jalen Hurts, Jared Goff in LA, and Brock Purdy, who all reached Super Bowls on their rookie deals, the highly reduced contracts enable the franchise to build a stacked roster. This is a terrifying detail when you consider how bad this Commander's team was in the big picture.
Pro Football Focus ranked the Commanders as the fifth worst roster in the entire NFL prior to the season, which was generous for a team that had just finished with the worst PPG allowed at 30.5, an average that is 9th worst in league history. The offense was not much better, with a receiving group lacking quality outside of Terry McLaurin, resulting in the 8th worst offense in the league.
Despite all those factors, Daniels took the team to the NFC Championship. Do you understand how absurd that is? And now, as the franchise with the third most salary cap room in the NFL, the Commanders are in line to build a superb roster for their superman.
Add all those factors, and I confidently predict that Jayden Daniels will reach three of the next five Super Bowls, just like Mahomes did.

Social Media Has Ended Big Market Teams
It is time to rethink the way we think about sports and marketability. The global popularity of social media has fundamentally changed sports consumption and the idea of market sizes. The phenomenon fueling this belief is LaMelo Ball and what just happened with the NBA All-Star vote.

It seems the country gets increasingly more divided with each election, but there is one thing we can all agree on- no more podcasts from active professional athletes.
