Welcome back to Far-Fetched Friday, where every Friday we give you a bold prediction that we believe will come to fruition. This time, we go up to the East coast.
Yes, I know the Patriots are on a six-game winning streak and that Bill Belichick is a candidate for coach of the year. That still does not change my mind on what I consider an overrated team with a rookie quarterback that will struggle over the last four weeks of the season.
The Patriots head to Indy to take on the Colts, followed by a game at home against the Bills. Those are two teams that are in desperation mode. The Colts have won 6 of their last eight games, and Carson Wentz, with the sixth-highest QBR in the league this season, looks like the MVP candidate he once was.
The Patriots will lose this game. Everything the Patriots do starts with the run game, and if you take that away, they look like a mediocre team. This season against teams with a run defense that ranks 16th or better, the Patriots are 3 and 4. They are 4 and 0 against everyone else. This Colts defense comes in at 16th and has a quarterback superior to Mac Jones.
