On April 26, in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the biggest fight in British boxing is going to happen between Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. This fight has been built up for decades, starting with their fathers, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank Sr., facing off twice in the early 1990s for the WBO World Middleweight title. Eubank Sr. won the first via 9th round TKO, while the second, a unification fight for the WBC and WBO World Super Middleweight world titles, ended in a draw. 

Now, their sons pick up where they left off in a clash that was supposed to happen in 2022 but was canceled due to Benn failing a drug test.

After years of anticipation and back and forths, it is finally happening in a sold-out stadium topped off with an all-British undercard, making this one of the best nights in British boxing history. Not to mention that they have a clear hatred for each other, with a fight almost breaking out every time they see each other. The press tour has not disappointed with personal comments thrown at each other, such as Benn reminding Eubank Jr. that his father, Eubank Sr., doesn't love him and Eubank Jr. threatening Conor Benn's father, Nigel. Then there was Eubank Jr. slapping Conner Benn with an egg, causing a gigantic on-stage brawl that saw Nigel try to choke Eubank Jr., Conor Benn having at least five security guards hold him back, and promotors pushing each other off stage.

This is a true 50/50 fight with high stakes for both fighters. Benn is seen as the better boxer but is moving up two weight divisions. And this is a make-or-break fight for Eubank Jr., as his career seems to be on a slow decline after recent uninspiring performances. This fight will not only settle their rivalry but will finally end decades of beef between the two families. April 26 will be an action-packed night of boxing that you do not want to miss.
