2020 NFL Power Rankings Week 7

10/22/2020

Here at the ICT Zone, our power rankings are based on a very simple philosophy. "To be the man you gotta beat the man", if a lower ranked team beats a higher ranked team, then the two teams automatically swap spots regardless of results from prior weeks.

Last week, the Raiders were in first position and they remain so after the bye week. This week showed us that the Baker Mayfield questions aren't going anywhere for the future, and Le'Veon Bell may have somehow come out on top in his New York situation. Next week gives us some more promising storylines.

The big matchup to look out for is Russell Wilson versus his mini me (no pun intended, just a playing style comparison) in Kyler Murray.

1. Las Vegas Raiders

(3-2)

The Bye week was much needed, they could make a push for the wildcard.

2. Baltimore Ravens

(5-1)

It may not look like it but the wheels may be coming off.

3. Seattle Seahawks

(5-0)

Russell Wilson cemented the MVP already.

4. Denver Broncos +18

(2-3)

That is a big win for an otherwise average team.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers

(5-0)

I don't understand how this team is 5 and 0.

6. New Orleans Saints

(3-2)

Lots of questions need answers.

7. Tennessee Titans

(5-0)

The colder it gets the more menacing Derrick Henry gets.

8. Kansas City Chiefs

(5-1)

This running game is elite with the addition of Le'Veon Bell.

9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers +14

(4-2)

Okay okay, I feel more confident in a potential super bowl run here.

10. Buffalo Bills

(4-2)

The Bills should still win this Division.

11. Detroit Lions

(2-3)

The Matt Stafford experiment needs to end soon, his talents are been wasted.

12. Cleveland Browns

(4-2)

Uh oh, here come the Baker Mayfield questions again.

13. Indianapolis Colts

(4-2)

The walking definition of a win is a win.

14. Chicago Bears +3

(5-1)

This team is extremely dangerous.

15. San Francisco 49ers +12

(3-3)

A big win but I doubt Garoppolo looks like that every week.

16. Miami Dolphins

(3-3)

You gotta feel for Ryan Fitzpatrick, but Tua is 15 years younger and needs the reps.

17. Carolina Panthers -3

(3-3)

8 and 8 season written all over.

18. Arizona Cardinals +3

(4-2)

Two games above .500 is a blessing at this point of the season.

19. New York Giants +9

(1-5)

That one win should be celebrated like a Super Bowl.

20. Philadelphia Eagles

(1-4-1)

Uhhh, so what happens now?

21. Dallas Cowboys -3

(2-4)

That loss was the confirmation we needed on how valuable Dak is to this franchise.

22. New England Patriots -18

(2-3)

I am doubling down here, I still believe in Cam.

23. Green Bay Packers -14

(4-1)

That loss tells me all I need to know about this teams Super bowl chances.

24. Atlanta Falcons +6

(1-5)

Well done.

25. Cincinnati Bengals

(1-4-1)

Joe Burrow is finally starting to look like a rookie.

26. New York Jets

(0-6)

0 and 16 watch continues.

27. Los Angeles Rams -12

(4-2)

The Rams really just aren't that good.

28. Washington -9

(1-5)

This is still a team in the playoff hunt thanks to the NFC East.

29. Los Angeles Chargers

(1-4)

Can't wait to see Herbert back in action.

30. Minnesota Vikings -6

(1-5)

We were all kinda wrong about Kirk Cousins, its okay to admit it.

31. Houston Texans

(1-5)

They set themselves up for this so its hard to have sympathy.

32. Jacksonville Jaguars

(1-5)

Whew boy, we really thought this was going to be one of the best defenses in history.
