2019 NFL Power Rankings: Week Three

09/17/2019

Here at the ICT Zone, our power rankings are based on a very simple philosophy. To be the man you gotta beat the man, if a lower ranked team beats a higher ranked team, then the two teams automatically swap spots regardless of results from prior weeks. With that, we move on to week two of the 2019 NFL season.

The biggest mover of the week came with the Colts jumping all the way to number 2 after defeating the Titans. The Colts might be fine without Andrew Luck after all. The Packers also swapped spots with the Vikings to move into the top 5. The Lions, Buccaneers, Falcons, and Browns wrapped up the rest of the movers. Next week promises some explosive matchups with the Chiefs matching up with the Ravens and the Rams coming up against the Browns.

Tune in next week to see how things shake up.

1. Baltimore Ravens

(2-0)

Lamar Jackson has the Ravens looking like a real contender.

2. Indianapolis Colts +21

(1-1)

Jacoby Brissett has been a pleasant surprise for most Colts fans.

3. New England Patriots

(2-0)

Blessing Brady with AB may mean this NFL season is over and done with already.

4. Dallas Cowboys

(2-0)

The Cowboys may actually have an elite quarterback, who would have thought?

5. Green Bay Packers +4

(2-0)

Rodgers doesn't look like the MVP candidate we predicted but the team is 2 and 0.

6. Kansas City Chiefs

(2-0)

Patrick Mahomes is currently on pace for 56 Touchdowns and 6,500 yards . . . Wow.

7. San Francisco 49ers

(2-0)

Have one of the most underrated teams in the NFL and the schedule to succeed.

8. Oakland Raiders

(1-1)

The Raiders may be better than expected but still not a playoff team.

9. Minnesota Vikings -4

(1-1)

Dalvin Cook is making a real case for the best running back in the NFL.

10. Detroit Lions +6

(1-0-1)

Not sure what exactly to make of the Lions so far.

11. Atlanta Falcons +17

(1-1)

Matt Ryan might be an average quarterback with extremely talented receivers.

12. Los Angeles Rams

(2-0)

Something doesn't feel quite right about this Rams team.

13. New Orleans Saints

(1-1)

Teddy Bridgewater is as good as a backup gets but Drew Brees is Drew Brees.

14. Buffalo Bills

(2-0)

The Bills may be two and 0 but that means absolutely nothing.

15. Seattle Seahawks

(2-0)

Russell Wilson continues his side job as a magician.

16. Los Angeles Chargers -6

(1-1)

Phillip Rivers may be over the hill.

17. Arizona Cardinals

(0-1-1)

Kyler Murray is proving people wrong but how long till the NFL figures it out?

18. Cincinnati Bengals

(0-2)

The Bengals might be considering a new quarterback at some point soon.

19. Cleveland Browns +12

(1-1)

Odell Beckham Jr. may be the best wide receiver in the NFL.

20. Houston Texans

(1-1)

The Texans will make the playoffs and exit in the first round as usual.

21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5

(1-1)

The Bucs don't have much to offer the NFL this season.

22. Washington

(0-2)

Washington needs to call it a year and give Haskins the reps he needs to develop.

23. Tennessee Titans -21

(1-1)

The Titans are the perfect 8-8 team.

24. Chicago Bears

(1-1)

It seems the Bears have everything but a quarterback.

25. Denver Broncos

(0-2)

Denver has been mediocre for far too long considering the roster.

26. Carolina Panthers -5

(0-2)

Carolina's season may already be over. A shame for a really talented defense.

27. Jacksonville Jaguars

(0-2)

Things are blowing up in Jacksonville.

28. Philadelphia Eagles -17

(1-1)

The Eagles have a gift of looking like the best and the worst team in the same game

29. New York Giants

(0-2)

Daniel Jones is here, only time will tell what that means.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers

(0-2)

That's it. This season is a wrap for the Steelers.

31. New York Jets -12

(0-2)

The Jets have been unfortunate but the NFL takes no prisoners.

32. Miami Dolphins

(0-2)

The Dolphins look more like a college football team .

If you are a United States Men's National Team fan, I have some good news. This is the worst the national team will ever be. I am serious. The talent coming down the pipeline, and more importantly, the systems developing those talents, are increasingly on par with elite global standards.
