2018 College Football Rankings Week 9
It happened. We gave you three upsets and we nailed all three. A week after giving you Purdue over Ohio State, we gave you Oklahoma State over Texas, Northwestern over Wisconsin and Syracuse over NC State. That leaves us at 7 for 9 on upset picks over the last three weeks. This week we have some more upsets lined up for you.
Pitt over Virginia in Virginia. Pittsburgh is coming off three very good performances and will have the confidence needed to come out with a victory. Arizona State over Utah. Arizona State has been a much better team than the 4-4 record indicates. All 4 losses have been by 7 points or less which means this game will come down to the last few minutes . . . Arizona State will come out on top. The third and final pick is another big 12 upset and this time Oklahoma goes down to Texas Tech. 5 and 3 is a misleading record for a team that has been very good and that should improve to 6 and 3.
Wild week of college football leading up to the first College football playoff ranking of the season. But we still use our format on the right. To be the man you gotta beat the man. Teams are ranked based on the previous week's record, nothing else.
